  • AsiaPacific_Schwarzman_Scholars_STAR_Evidence_Bank_TRACKER.xlsx

Your stories in Situation, Task, Action, Result form, tagged to the six published criteria plus a separate 'Why China and global affairs' tag (not a formal criterion), with a coverage sheet that shows gaps.

Who it's for

  • Graduates aged 18 to 28 applying through the U.S./Global application, including from Nigeria, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Kenya and Ghana
  • Applicants who want structure for prompts that appear only in the portal
  • Applicants without China experience who need to build their case for a year in Beijing

How the documents work together

  1. 1

Check eligibility: Confirm your age and degree date against 1 August 2028, your English route, and that your passport details will match the application and your visa. (User Guide)

  2. 2

Set your dates: Enter the deadline once the programme publishes the exact day for September 2027, and plan any English test before it. (Application Timeline)

  3. 3

Collect stories: Write 12 to 20 true stories and tag them to the six criteria, and use the 'Why China and global affairs' tag (not a formal criterion) for your reasons for the programme. Look at the coverage sheet for gaps. (STAR Evidence Bank)

  4. 4

Brief recommenders: Choose three people who saw your leadership first-hand and send each the brief early, with your CV. (Recommender Brief)

  5. 5

Copy the prompts: Open the portal when the application opens and paste each exact prompt into its worksheet. (Essay Worksheets)

  6. 6

Work the components: Answer the recall questions, choose your stories, plan each part, then write your own text within the strict limits. (Essay Worksheets)

  7. 7

Check and submit: Run each self-check and the final checklist. Submission is final and cannot be reopened. (User Guide)

  8. 8

Prepare the interview: If shortlisted, practise the questions aloud with friends or colleagues without memorising answers. (Interview Question Bank)

Questions about this kit

Does this kit contain the essay prompts?

No. The programme shows the prompts only inside its portal. Each worksheet has a box where you paste the exact prompt, then guides you with questions, structure and checks.

Does it contain example essays?

No. You certify that you wrote everything yourself without any AI generator, so the kit gives you questions, structures and checks, never text to copy.

Can I apply from Nigeria, Pakistan or India?

Yes. Holders of non-Chinese passports use the U.S./Global application, under the same age, degree and English rules as every global applicant.
