Who it's for

  • Professionals with at least 3,000 work hours and real leadership experience
  • Citizens of countries on SI's current eligible list (the 2024/2025 call included Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya and Ghana)
  • Applicants who want structure for SI's templates without sample text

How the documents work together

  1. 1

Check your country: Open SI's current list of eligible countries. Do not continue if your citizenship is not on it. (User Guide)

  2. 2

Count your hours: Add up your work hours to the date you will apply and identify your leadership roles against SI's definition. (Motivation Letter Worksheets)

  3. 3

Choose and rank programmes: Pick master's programmes on SI's eligible list and record your University Admissions programme order. (Motivation Letter Worksheets)

  4. 4

Step 1: University Admissions: Apply on universityadmissions.se with the universities' documents by the January deadline, and pay the SEK 900 application fee by the fee deadline if it applies to you. (Application Timeline)

  5. 5

Ask referees and supervisors: Send the reference brief, and ask supervisors or HR to sign your proof of work and leadership forms. (Reference Brief)

  6. 6

Plan the SI documents: When SI publishes the current call's templates, paste the motivation letter questions and limits into the worksheets and plan each answer. (Motivation Letter Worksheets)

  7. 7

Step 2: SI portal: Upload all SI documents in the February window, and list your programmes in the SI portal as the portal instructs. (User Guide)

Route check

Check SI's current country list on the SISGP page before buying (source: https://si.se/en/apply/scholarships/swedish-institute-scholarships-for-global-professionals/). In SI's 2024/2025 call, Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kenya and Ghana were eligible and India was not (source: https://si.se/?p=12037). SI's SISGP recipients for academic year 2025/2026 included nationals of Nigeria, Bangladesh and Kenya and none from Pakistan, India or Ghana (source: https://si.se/app/uploads/2025/04/si-scholarship-recipients-2025.pdf). Neither list proves eligibility for the current call. If your country is not on SI's current list, this kit is not for you: see the Erasmus Mundus or DAAD EPOS kits.

General information

General information, not admissions advice. Every fact in this kit is checked against the programme's own pages and linked to its source. Rules change between cycles.

Programme rule on AI and help: SI runs random authenticity checks. Fabricated or false documents lead to disqualification and a ban from future SI scholarships, or termination and full repayment if discovered during the award.

Questions about this kit

Can I apply from Pakistan, India or Ghana?

It depends on SI's current list. In the 2024/2025 call, Pakistan and Ghana were eligible and India was not, and the 2025/2026 recipients list includes no nationals of these three countries. Only citizens of countries on SI's current list may apply, so check it before you buy.

What are the motivation letter questions and limits?

SI sets them for each call. The worksheet makes you paste the current questions and character limits before you plan.

Is there an interview?

SI publishes no interview stage for this scholarship, so this kit has no interview bank. It focuses on the documents SI assesses.
